B | 新加坡夜市中元会本周六将在新加坡邮政旁边的大草场举行，届时将席开65桌，也会有歌台表演和喊标。负责人赵弦阩告诉《8视界新闻网》，从九年前开始已每年举办新加坡夜市中元会活动，希望通过庆祝活动传承中元节庆典，以及促进社区互动。同时，也通过向年长者捐赠必需品，履行社会责任关心弱势团体。新加坡夜市中元会准备了1000个礼包送给年长者。（图：赵弦阩提供）他说：“经历疫情的低潮期后，今年有更多商家捐钱和贡献，令这次的经费增加，因此决定准备1000个礼包送给老人家。每个礼包价值30新元，是为老人家准备的必需品。”赵弦阩也透露，原本中元会想邀请年长者在星期六前来一起吃晚宴，但收到的反馈是，考虑到老人家行动不便、人数众多，因顾及到安全问题，最终决定事先将礼包带到多个民众俱乐部派发。
